Job 19:19 All my best friends despise me, and those I love have turned against me. 20 My skin and flesh cling to my bones; I have escaped by the skin of my teeth. 21 Have pity on me, my friends, have pity, for the hand of God has struck me. 22 Why do you persecute me as God does? Will you never get enough of my flesh?

Job 16:1 Then Job answered: 2 “I have heard many things like these; miserable comforters are you all. 3 Is there no end to your long-winded speeches? What provokes you to continue testifying? 4 I could also speak like you if you were in my place; I could heap up words against you and shake my head at you. 5 But I would encourage you with my mouth, and the consolation of my lips would bring relief.
