Ezekiel 3

18 If I say to the wicked man, ‘You will surely die,’ but you do not warn him or speak out to warn him from his wicked way to save his life, that wicked man will die in his iniquity, and I will hold you responsible for his blood. 19 But if you warn a wicked man and he does not turn from his wickedness and his wicked way, he will die in his iniquity, but you will have saved yourself.

Lamentations 3

21 Yet I call this to mind,

and therefore I have hope:

22 Because of the loving devotion of the Lord we are not consumed,

for His mercies never fail.

23 They are new every morning;

great is Your faithfulness!

24 “The Lord is my portion,” says my soul,

“therefore I will hope in Him.”

Jeremiah 52

9 The Chaldeans seized the king and brought him up to the king of Babylon at Riblah in the land of Hamath, where he pronounced judgment on Zedekiah. 10 There at Riblah the king of Babylon slaughtered the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes, and he also killed all the officials of Judah. 11Then he put out Zedekiah’s eyes, bound him with bronze shackles, and took him to Babylon, where he kept him in custody until his dying day.
